The Canarian archipelago offers sailors a whole new world to explore. The clear blue Atlantic waters surrounding the islands are home to a large variety of sea mammals including whales, dolphins and porpoises. It is not unusual to see loggerhead turtles and flying fish regularly skim the waves.
