This is the rough and tumble way to get around the unusual Fuerteventuran landscape (malpais - The Badlands).
Book on to one of the organized jeep safaris, sit back and relax while one of the professional drivers does all the work.
Visit the blue lagoons of El Cotillo on the rugged west and then venture further inland and get to see the places only the locals know how to get to.
If you fancy having a bash at driving yourself then hire your own jeep from the many car hire firms in your resort.
Either way you could be in for some top class off road thrills.
