Flag Beach Windsurf Centre offers good cross-shore (from the left) conditions from March/April through to August/September. It is generally wavier for the first couple of months with the remains of the winter swells, however from May onwards the waves disappear and flat slalom conditions prevail. Although the winter months statistically have less windy days at Flag Beach, there can be better locations within easy reach that have wind for the more advanced sailor. When there is no wind there will usually be waves so we offer body boarding and surfing as alternatives. |

With wind speeds averaging 3 Bft in the mornings and 5 Bft in the afternoons (cross-shore), Flag Beach makes for an ideal spot for practicing this sport. We have on stock both two and four line kites, teaching on Naish R3s and four line North Rhino for more advanced clients.
