Press Release:
Opening of Betancuria Historic Restaurant: Casa Princess Arminda:
In 2005, the fifth generation of the Gonzalez Dumpierrez family began the restoration of one of the oldest buildings on the island; the only piece of living history in Fuerteventura to have remained in the same family since the 15th century.
Casa Princess Arminda serves a variety of local Spanish tapas and main dishes and is located right behind the church tower.
Additional details can be found at princessarminda.com, reservations are welcomed for special group events.
The name of the establishment alludes to one of the last of the indigenous Guanche princesses of the Canary Islands, who died while defending the island of Gran Canaria.
