Gang of drug dealers arrested in Fuerteventura

The investigations that led to their arrest was centered in the zone of El Castillo, municipality of Antigua, and in Puerto del Rosario.

A team of a dozen Guardia Civil carried out raids in two buildings of Nuevo Horizonte (Costa Antigua), where 480 grams of hash, 220 grams of cocaine, two digital precision scales, 12 mobile phones, jewellery and cash were seized in addition to a vehicle.

The prisoners - a 52 year old Moroccan citizen 'M.F.', a 23 year old Portuguese 'T.W.O.', a 26 year old Grand Canarian 'J.C.D.'and a 22 year old Czech woman 'S.Z.'- are awaiting trial.

The drug traffic in the tourist zone had been of great concern to the residents.
