Cotillo Beaches
The wild El Cotillo beaches along the west coast are perfect for fishing, surfing and windsurfing.
Although quite safe at the lagoons (on the East side), there can be a danger of strong under currents on the cliff side (turning left in the village) especially during the big winter swells.
The deserted feel of Cotillo appeals to many, particularly those who have a wish to get away from it all. Although it has to be said there is a great deal of building planned and going on so that will likely change.
There are plenty of good fish restaurants to choose from in the village.
